PARSA’s election results are in! From Monday 21st of September to Friday 25th September, voting for PARSA elections have been underway. Eve Walker for President and Naomi Otoo for Vice President have won out as the top contenders, and they will both take up their respective titles in November.
Former Interim Education Officer, Eve Walker, secured the spot with policies focusing on finance, improvements in postgraduate accommodation and student rights. Through her team, the initiatives that PARSA intends to raise during her term include the reduction of Student Service and Amenities Fees (SSAF) and community welfare fees, the latter of which is paid via students to residential halls, and the development of postgraduate accommodation.
